Journaling

The purpose of keeping a journal is to have a written record of the thoughts, feelings, opinions, ideas, activities, and events of one’s life.

The result of keeping a journal is a written record of one person’s life. The journal becomes a historical document usually written by the person whose life is being observed and described.

Most journalers keep a journal in the way journals have always been done: one get’s a book made for journaling and writes in it. There is nothing wrong with this method; if this is the way you journal and it works for you meaning that you write in your journal book daily, then this is the way for you.

However, for most of us this way doesn’t work. We journal now and then instead of daily. When one journal’s in a new way the journal becomes more useful.
